From lining a chimney to annual service and maintenance, every job has been carefully performed and you'd never know they had been in. As always the team from Stove Care Ltd were efficient, conscientious (covered everything throughout the house that they were likely to come into contact with), explained what they were doing and why...for example this time I had the brick set replaced and the fire is just like new again. We feel so relaxed about using the fire in the winter when we know it has been thoroughly cleaned and checked over. They also check the carbon monoxide alarm. I have no qualms about recommending them, and feel confident that, if there were problems down the line, they would be very approachable.

As always, the service from stove care was prompt, efficient and reasonably priced. The guys who came to service my woodburning stove did a thorough job, pointing out that the baffle plate was in poor condition, suggesting it was replaced without being pushy.They also replaced a broken fire brick. The work required was to replace a chimney cowl recently blown off in a gale. The two that came to do the work, Josh and Joe, arrived promptly on the date and time arranged and immediately assessed the job and set up their ladders. They were friendly and polite and explained to me what needed to be done to fix the new cowl. The cowl was quickly fitted and weatherproofed, and Josh even kindly pulled out some weeds growing round the chimney which I had no way of reaching. (Reviewed January 2019)
