From initial advice on siting the woodburner, to the actual fitting, everything was explained and dealt with extremely professionally. Guy and Josh made sure all carpets were protected, and they left everything clean and tidy at the end of the day. They work very well as a team and are a pleasure to have in your home. after the chimney sweeping I found that I could not light my stove owing to an accumulation of soot below the soot door which blocked the flue where it joins the stove. After telephoning the business I managed to rake out the soot myself with a ruler.
A soot door was also installed by the business and this was fine - neat and well matched to the flue pipe.
Those doing the work were friendly and helpful.

As discussed when we did the work and in our telephone conversation afterwards, the stove and flue are very old as such it is highly likely that due to the uneven masonry in your flue, we were unable to sweep into all the nooks and crannies within. Because of this you can occasionally get soot-fall post sweeping. As we said when doing the camera survey, it would be worth at the very least relining the flue to stop this happening again.

Guy & his team replaced a condemned wood burner plus internal & external flue & fitted a marble hearth plus backing.
Prior to starting work they covered all furniture & floor with dust sheets to prevent any damage, they were very respectful & worked in a very clean & tidy manner. All work was carried out to a high standard & at the price agreed with NO extras.

From start to finish guy provided clear and sound advice with regard to our options in replacing an old open fire with a modern wood burner. He took into account the age of our house, current fire surround and size of the room and then explained what the work would entail. he followed this up swiftly with a detailed quote and after paying a deposit he gave us his start date.
