We had the misfortune of using this company to cover an insurance job. What should have been a 3 days job dragged over 3 weeks as they cancelled once at short notice and twice on the same day.
After being let down 3 times, my partner decided to finish the job himself.

The timescale for job completion was dictated by the client's availability.
Given the nature of the works, ie ceiling renewal, plasterwork and decoration we advised the client that the works would take approx. 4 working days with approx. one to two days off site to allow the plaster to dry. We had suggested works be undertaken between a Monday and Saturday to prevent delay.
As the client didn't want tradesmen working within the property unsupervised, access was only granted on Thursday and Fridays to suit their work schedules.
As such, the works programme was as follows:
Thurs 27th Sept - Renew damaged ceiling
Fri 28th Sept - Plaster works
Thurs 4th Oct - decoration
Fri 5th Oct - tiling .
Our inhouse tradesmen completed the plastering and decoration works as per the agreed timescale.
The tiling works were to be completed by a subcontractor, AA Ceramics, who had to postpone due to ill health.
The subcontractor and client had arranged between them a convenient day for completion of the tile repairs.
Given feedback from the subcontractor, it is my understanding that on this visit the client had asked the tiler to undertake minor works outwith the original specification. As such, the tiler advised that he would require further instruction from ourselves to complete.
At this point we asked the client if they wanted us to provide a different tiler the next day, however was advised that due to work commitments they would complete this themselves.
I duly accepted and without hesitation offered to credit them any funds relating to the tile repairs.
Given, there had been no complaint reported to our company in terms of quality of work or in relation to the above, I find the review somewhat surprising. (Reviewed October 2018)
