My first experience with this company was an appointment where they never showed up, the following week they measured the door.
Yesterday the 7th July they fitted the replacement door and the door has been hung on the wrong side, now i'm told I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for them to rectify their mistake, shambolic to say the least, will never use again as there are plenty of more companies out there. (Reviewed July 2020)

Order comprised 2 sliding doors + a 2-pane window [6 panes of glass]. Installation was mid-Aug. Numerous snags: frame of one sliding door was mounted twisted, so door did not close correctly; one door lock was U/S and all 6 of the glass panes had faults requiring replacement. The twisted sliding door frame was quickly rectified, but it took a total of 20 panes of glass and 3 months to get 6 acceptable ones! Nice people, but very serious factory quality & control problem. We ordered a unit with 2 doors, 2 windows and 2 fixed panes. We were informed that it was a 1 day job and it was agreed that it would be carried out on 24 October 2014. The surveyor made a serious error and the fitters arrived with the wrong lintel. We then had to wait a week for the correct lintel and the job then took 3.5 days over nearly a week but we were left with poor quality materials and workmanship. We had to invest a huge amount of time to get things put right and they finally sent their service engineer on 3 March 2015 to finish the job properly. Before then, the managing director took 5 weeks to reply to an email detailing all the issues that we had. We ended up paying almost 25% less than the contract price for all that we had had to endure. Another issue we had is that we lost the slot with our floor tiler as that couldn't be done until the doors and windows were completed. We have had to wait many months for another slot with our tiler so have been living with a concrete floor in our hall, kitchen, dining room, cloakroom and utility room as the same floor is throughout. In addition, we have been unable to put in a new toilet or 7 internal door frames and door. All in all, an absolute nightmare and the way we were treated by Trade Windows was absolutely despicable.
