Poor workmanship caused a water leak in a new build house, but for various reasons, neither the builder, developer, nor the NHBC were interested in helping.
Have used Safe & Healthy Homes previously, they are my go-to company for building-related problems. Their assistance was very helpful in processing the resulting insurance claim, the scope of works agreed and dates planned. The work was done exactly as planned with a very good result. The only minor gripe was a bit of poor administration; I paid the invoice quickly but received a request shortly afterwards to "make good the shortfall". Responded to our enquiry and communication good throughout. Itemised estimate. Didn't pressure us into whole bathroom revamp which we did not want nor replacement of old but working shower. Removed old bath without disturbing tiling (we only had limited replacement tiles from previous installation), installed new bath, front panel and taps and sorted plumbing as necessary. Very neat job and all working fine so far. Bathroom left neat and tidy and all old fittings taken away for disposal. Also replaced old inefficient gate valves with levers.
