Oakley Aerials was contacted to realign an already installed dish to receive German channels and identified the right alignment within 10 minutes of arrival as he pointed to the aerial of our neighbours at number 9 (which is the direction the dish is pointing now).
It was then confirmed that it just need a simple realignment and no further materials are required as the dish was already installed. Oakley Aerials failed to complete the job.
It was difficult to get a price for the job but eventually was quoted £ 150, this was 30 minutes into a simple realignment job and I was ready to call it off. This was then upped by £ 15 at the end as it was claimed he had to test all my broken equipment (which now miraculously works). We ended up with a 3 and a half hour job unnecessary new cabling and rod installed. The dish was now aligned the same direction as our neighbour at number 6 who has Sky TV. Overall there was a lot of negativity and everything was to blame but him (this was the reason I didn't call him back in).
A second Buy With Confidence member came and re-aligned the dish and scanned for the channels requested and they were in and out within 30 minutes.
