He broke down the quotation explaining how it was made up so I could have taken issue with items but didn't as the prices for labour, time, van etc all appeared fair and reasonable. His two men with the van arrived promptly and were friendly and efficient. No problem phased them - settee too large to get through the door? Cut it in half - it was only going to the tip anyway. Mark made a pre-visit to the property a fortnight before and explained what would happen on the day. He was thorough in his examination of the premises and provided a clear account of the costs involved. On the day, his team of 3 men and 2 trucks cleared the property of items that had gathered during 65 years of previous occupancy. They also cleared outbuildings which in our case included a garden shed and a coal bunker both of which had been used as dumping grounds for all and sundry - they were both left clear and tidy.

Used N.A.C. to clear my late dad's house. Very professional: I was shown the waste-removers' licence, liability insurance etc. (I didn't need to ask) and received a written quote on the spot. Beat the other quotes I'd had.

Mark and the team arrived just before me on the day and the house was cleared very quickly (just over 2.5 hours for a two-bedroomed terraced house). No mess left, no items overlooked - even the light-shades were removed!

. Not just a man with a van but but a very professional service all staff appropriately dressed in company logoed overalls and fully aware of H & S regulations. They worked methodically through the property bagging and sorting all the different materials as they went along.
