Martin has done various work for us over the last 6 months, including installing eaves storage, moving and installing radiators and doors, and changing our cloakroom.

We have always found him very reliable and he has always showed up on time. Once he starts doing work he has been committed to getting the job done.

His work on our downstairs cloakroom in particular (which involved taking out all the existing units and replacing everything) was really good and it all looked great.

We found that he was very good at customer service and wanted us to be happy and satisfied with the work he did. We have also found him very friendly, amicable and fair. We found him very responsive and someone who listens to our feedback.

I telephoned Mr Clay, who agreed to come to my home to discuss a small job that i needed undertaking. Unfortunately, he failed to arrive and did not feel it necessary to contact me and let me know that he was not able to come at the time agreed. In the end, I had to telephone him and he appeared indifferent to the fact the he had not turned up and tried to tell me that he was unaware of the time! He showed no concern, offered no apology and I will now have to seek an alternative carpenter and joiner. If someone cannot be bothered to keep an appointment, or telephone to say they are going to be delayed, then I simply cannot trust them to be reliable!

"I am sorry to hear you have felt the need to raise a complaint regarding what was a genuine mistake. As I had explained over the phone, I lost track of time on the day due to complications with the job I was already working on and as such missed our appointment. Once notified of the time and my mistake I offered a solution to rectify this which sadly you were not willing to accept.
