It was a matter of third time (very) lucky finding Mark and his team. I'd tried getting a quote from two other firms, both of which failed to commit to an appointment. Mark did turn up, right on time. Quickly assessed the job, gave advice on what could be done with the two pines which had preservation orders, gave recommendations on two overgrown evergreen oaks and a mimosa-with-attitude. He said he'd get back to me with a quotation, which he did later that evening. The quotation was very competitive and included applying for planning permission.

Come the Big Day Mark and his two assistants turned up on time, checked that the job was exactly as we had agreed, and worked through until the early afternoon. They took away a lot of material and even removed leaves and sawdust from the grass. (Reviewed April 2023)

We needed a scots pine reducing as it was becoming very intrusive. Mark explained what was possible and what was not possible without harming the tree. On the day, the team arrived spot on time and did an excellent job. The tree is much reduced but still has a perfect shape. The neighbour is happy, we are happy - great job!
