This was the second time I have used Laurence Hawkins Tree Surgery and on both occasions I have been immensely impressed by their work. From the moment Laurence came to give me a quotation I felt confident that here was a company I could completely rely on.
On the day, he and Troy arrived at the time promised and worked steadily through the day in a highly professional and skilled manner. It was clear from the onset that they had been well educated in tree surgery and made an excellent job of thinning out and reducing a large yew tree.

The service provided by Laurence and his partner was excellent. The initial visit to plan the work was extremely helpful and we received clear guidance on the best approach to pruning the trees in our garden. Laurence is very knowledgeable and inspired confidence in his ability to carry out the work. They worked very hard on the day of the visit, completed the work to a high standard and left the garden much tidier than it was before they arrived! It was obvious that they took pride in their work and were very professional and courteous, taking time to check that I was happy with the work at each stage. Laurence and his team (Darren and Troy) have worked on my garden for the last 3 years. On this occasion they were pruning and felling some trees, using the chipper, to let light into the garden. They have previously also ground out some tree stumps. They are all highly professional, have a great sensitivity for the work they carry out being careful around the plants and Laurence recommends the best options and I trust him 100%. I have been delighted to see the impact his work has made and Laurence is always interested to see how the trees progress after pruning/pollarding/"shaping" (sorry I do not know all the technical terms! His work is of a very high standard and they are very tidy and take pride in their work. Laurence is a very reliable conscientious, professional tree surgeon whose friendly and courteous manner from the initial quote to the finished job have us every confidence of having excellent work done. Laurence came with his grounds man Darren and with superb teamwork and an easy going manner they completed everything to a very high standard : Cutting, clearing and wood chipping. Previously cut braces from fallen tress as well as pollarding and strimming back the undergrowth. We highly recommend Laurence Hawkins tree surgery and would not hesitate to use his services again.
