KwikChex (https://kwikchex.com/) provides a free service specifically to timeshare owners and consumers via the Timeshare Task Force (https://timesharetaskforce.org/). It includes related products such as Holiday Membership Clubs, Leisure Credits and Legal & Claims Services.
KwikChex is a Corporate Affiliate Member of the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI), which is a process that requires sponsorship from Trading Standards Officers and approval by the CTSI. In addition, we work closely with law enforcement agencies, including the police and Trading Standards and a number of government departments.
In June 2019, we received a Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) Hero Award in recognition of our work supporting consumer protection, civil actions and criminal investigations and prosecutions.

We were cold called over our Timeshare at Pueblo Evita and referred to Meridian Litigation Advisors, who advised us we could claim money back on current and previous ownerships. We contacted the Timeshare Advisory people to check on whether MLA was a reputable company and to see if this was genuine. They reacted immediately with advice of does and don'ts. Got great advice regarding termination of a timeshare contract in Tenerife. They looked at a company offering the service in this country but advised going direct to the timeshare company before engaging any other services. We did this using a template letter from the internet requesting termination and the reasons. The company agreed to relinquish the contract for a fee to cover legal and administrative costs that was a third of the price of the UK based company. This was only on the understanding that neither party had any further financial claim on each other. We were happy with this as we have enjoyed and used the timeshare over the years and just didn't want to be tied in for the next 52 years. If you are going after compensation I doubt they will release on those terms. Good luck (Reviewed December 2019)

WeI first read the review on the web site about KwikChex Ltd knowing that they were Vetted and trading standard approved professionals who would give us the best help and advise to exit from our timeshare membership.
After completing the initial inquiry page, Chris Emmins was allocated our case for his assistance.
We must say that everyone at Kwikchek was very proffesional, and in particular Chris who dealt with our case.
He was fantastic throughout, as he listened to our concerns and requested for the full history of our contract details to help us from relinquished from our fractional % membership.

Chris and his team at Kwikchex offered my Parents a lifeline in assisting them to get their money back from a timeshare scam. I live in Australia, my parents in the UK had pretty much given up all hope of getting anything back from Eze Group after two failed attempts.

Approached Kwikchex for advise on my timeshare being mis sold to me after recent press articles concerning a Spanish Supreme court ruling and through there advise went back to my timeshare company as wanted to rid myself of this burden. With Kwikchex help I successfully managed to offload my timeshare back to the developer at no other cost except a £10 stamp which was used to track my deeds back to my developer who was Richvale resorts..
This was done very quickly as was my RCI cancellation of membership but I would suspect that this was carried out this way as kwikchex said I had a potential claim for compensation and I think they knew it.I had every bit of documentation and evidence to do this but felt offloading it was a result. Very helpful service which was a breath of fresh air given our experience that the timeshare sector is full of scammers.
Staff with whom I had contact were polite, helpful and reassuring and acted as our representative in resolving a long-running dispute with the timeshare co. They resolved the problem very quickly, We had felt we were up against a brick wall and were sceptical of seeking help since everyone we had previously contacted had tried to enrol us in yet another timeshare (or similar) scheme.

I first contacted them 12 months ago for help and they guided me through the lengthy process of trying to obtain a refund from [a timeshare relinquishment business].
When [the timeshare relinquishment business] refused to communicate, KwikChex continued to provide support and advice which enabled me to make a claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act which resulted in me obtaining a full refund.
KwikChex were able to provide information to assist my claim that I had been unable to obtain from anywhere else.
They always answered my emails quickly and were polite, courteous and professional at all times.

I wish to thank KwikChex for supporting me through a contractural mess that I had arrived at. The contract was potentially fraudulent and would cost me several thousand pounds. I felt rather foolish to have got myself into this situation but worse was at a loss as to how get out of this "no cooling off"agreement. Fortunately Citizens Advise advised me to talk to KwikChex, who responded quickly to my questions , and opened a private online ticket thread where our conversations were recorded for reference. Critically they provided me with a strongly worded letter informing the company that they could not hold me to a no cooling off contract. I am delighted to say that today, I posted back to the company I am in dispute with, their "Settlement Agreement" releasing me from the contract. (Reviewed April 2018)

The staff at the Timeshare Task Force were very professional and knowledgeable about the timeshare industry. I found them online when I was looking for help to get out of a timeshare contract. It was a huge relief to know they were backed by Trading Standards; there are so many timeshare scams online, it's difficult to know who to trust.
They were fantastic, they listened to my concerns and took a full history of the contract details. They resolved my problem and lifted a big weight from my shoulders.

KwikChex link to RDO enabled some recovery (5k) of our expenses, but we regret that they were unable to fully recover the extra fee we paid to [business name removed by BWC admin] in 2014 (£7.9k) on the assurance of the [business name removed by BWC admin] rep. that it would ensure a sale.
