Martin was tasked to completely renovate an outdated bathroom. The job involved re-plastering walls, moving plumbing around to new positions, installing a modern suite including a new double-head shower, large L-shaped shower bath, hand basin and toilet and tiling both the floor and walls. This was all done without compromising the use of the toilet facilities, one of our main concerns with it being the only bathroom in the house!
The job was completed to an extremely high standard and the room looks amazing. Martin was very meticulous and tidy in his work. I would, without doubt use him again and would recommend him to others. (Reviewed January 2019)
Martin was polite and helpful. He explained all the work required and timings. He arrived on time and worked hard.
The building job and repairs were to a high standard we were delighted.
Martin was recommended to me by a friend who is most critical of tradesmen . The friend was so delighted with Martin's work at his property that he is still inviting people to view it .
I would highly recommend this company and will use them again. (Reviewed October 2018)
We asked Martin to repair the leaking roof of a bay window. He did a through investigation and discovered some major flaws in the original construction. He was meticulous in discussing with us the alternative approaches to (and costs of) solving the problem. He then replaced the roof. He has done an excellent job, and throughout the project he was diligent, hard-working and tidy. We are very confident in his ability and have no hesitation in recommending him. (Reviewed April 2018)

Advice was greatly appreciated before work commenced. Standard of work was of the highest level with no additional work carried out prior to agreement. A great knowledge of all aspects of building work. Will use again. (Reviewed September 2016)
Martin did an outstanding job delivering a project to replace the local school's boiler house roof in dreadful weather without disrupting the functioning of the school and preventing damage to the heating equipment at any point.
He co-ordinated specialist contractors in scaffolding and GRP roofing alongside his own building and joinery skills to complete the replacement of the roof and flue fittings to an extremely high standard, on time and on budget.
He liaised with the school management and governors throughout, ensuring site safety, timely communication of progress and a photographic record of key stages of the job.
I heartily recommend Martin for his professional approach, exactingly high standards, practical skills and encyclopaedic technical knowledge. (Reviewed June 2016)
This trader has carried out several projects at our holiday property in Shap. He has carried out building maintenance work, replaced water damaged flooring, designed & built a paved patio to the rear of the house & decorated our hall, landing & stairs.
He is very prompt to provide estimates & sticks rigidly to the proposed start dates. He is very meticulous in his work & does not leave any mess lying around & the work sites are always clean & tidy when he has finished.
His knowledge of building construction & materials is excellent & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone with similar projects in mind. (Reviewed March 2016)
Martin recently completed works to fit out our new kitchen to an extremely high standard in our 1920s period home. He was very thorough in his work and had a high degree of integrity and craftsmanship. He was very honest, friendly and reliable and made every effort to do a clean, professional and tidy job. The transformation from 1970's kitchen to a sleek, bright modern space is incredible. He also installed an innovative magnetic plastered wall at our request. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.
