However, although Paul was going on holiday the following day, he came out on a Saturday afternoon and completed the work. Paul responded to my call on Sunday and arrived as planned today, Monday 7th February. It was a complex problem that caused the loss of power to all sockets in one side of the house and the garage. There was no power to the central heating boiler, which was a major issue.

I asked Paul for a quote as he had previously completed some electrical work for a relative at a high standard so I was happy to approach him again. Paul was always prompt in responding to calls and texts and always came at the agreed time to work at my home. I live in a converted mill which has a four metre high ceiling and I contacted a number of electricians in the Derby area to ascertain whether the lights could be made more accessible so that changing the bulbs would be easier. Paul Green from Greens Electrical Services Ltd was the only one to respond positively and suggested a number of alternative light fittings which I could choose from and the way they could be suspended from the ceilings. We accordingly arranged a two day mutually convenient period when Mr Green could attend in order to remove the old lights and install the new ones. We have employed Paul on many occasions to conduct many aspects of electrical work in our house. Previous work has included extra electrical sockets in our living toom and home office. Paul's workmanship is so good he has done the same work in our new home providing ample sockets in both our living room and office.
But the work we recently asked Paul to look at was our hot water boiler off peak system that has never functioned correctly. To say Paul does his homework is an understatement. He arrived at my home and after a few technical checks fitted a more up to date thermostatic timer at a very reasonable cost to us. It was a small job for Paul on this occasion (the latest of several), but he approached it with his usual thoroughness and commitment to providing a truly professional service. All he had to do was to hard wire the cable for a new electric fire next to an existing socket (which he upgraded at the same time). It was fiddly work, needing extensions to the existing cables, but when he finished you could not tell that he had set a new outlet into the brickwork, such was the neat way in which he carried out the installation. A full electrics check was done for the property. Before the job had even started the the owner of the company (Paul) was very accommodating to ensure a suitable time was possible to carry out the big job despite the very short notice we had given him which was very much appreciated.

Two members of the team arrived (Paul and Ian), they were prompt, extremely polite and courtesy from the off and throughout the day. The work was done efficiently and I could really gauge that the two were experienced professionals who had a passion for their craft.

They went above and beyond to fix any problem which cropped up in the time available and even were late for subsequent jobs/courses in order to ensure that the job was done properly to the highest standard. On top of this, their work was very tidy and fairly priced.
