This is a professional outfit. Their communications are excellent, they turn up as arranged and they are always friendly and courteous. The work was done to a high standard and with every precaution to minimise disruption and mess.

Water was dripping into a bedroom. Tim recognised that it was caused by the condition & age of my roof. Pictures were taken which showed the roof’s poor condition.
My daughter works from home. Both the erection of scaffolding & roof removal & repair were carried out extremely quietly. We were very impressed & grateful for the team’s respect. Remarkably, my daughter’s work environment was not affected.
My house is warmer thanks to the new roof.

I engaged this company for some building maintenance work, removing an old and leaky portico and replacing it with new in-line brickwork. From the start the service has been free from hassle and prompt, within a couple of days of first calling I revived a quote free of charge. After the go ahead the work was completed to my satisfaction without any problems, so good job done. (Reviewed May 2019)

I don't think I have ever said this before, but we would recommend this firm unreservedly, and I'll explain why.

We are both pensioners and this was a traumatic time for us when we found out we had a leak under the solid dining room floor, in the middle of the house. It was found because our water meter showed use of much too much water so we didn't even know we had a leak until United Utilities contacted us.

East Manchester builders are a family firm and they have people who can do a multitude of different trades.
We can't speak highly enough of the work they did for us. Not only was the standard of work excellent, they co-ordinated each part so that everything was completed in the right order and as speedily as possible: One person finished their part of the work, left us, and within the hour the next tradesperson would be with us to get on with their part of the job.

The insurance company did not seem to understand exactly what was needed and Tim OConnor liaised with them for us to explain. That was such a relief.

I've not seen such efficiency for a long time and we are so grateful to the whole team at East Manchester Builders.
