We regularly use this business to trim a row of trees bordering our garden. This is always carried out efficiently, always tidying up after. On this occasion we also had 2 large yucca plants removed from the front garden. This was also carried out extremely efficiently, digging out the roots and leaving the front clean and tidy. David, assisted by Genna, worked hard to take down approximately 25 feet of old fence and posts, replacing with new concrete slotted posts, good quality wooden 6 foot Waney edge panels and concrete gravel boards. David completely cleared a large unmaintained garden, that hid a multitude of difficult problems. Reusing some slabs, he made new shed bases and moved the sheds into their new locations. There was a large pond which he filled in and levelled. Removed a yew tree hedge which he replaced with fence panels. As the garden sloped, he added a sleeper retaining wall and levelled the rest. He added in some raised sleeper beds for our vegetables and flowers. He also laid turf and made bespoke wooden trellis. Finishing off the garden with a beautiful 45 sq. meter grey Indian sandstone patio, as well as a small patio area in an odd shaped drop-down area using salvaged slabs. David and his father carried out 2 jobs for us.

The first to remove 8 leylandii along the old fence line and then put in a new 25m fence. This wasn't just any new fence - it used concrete panels to help deaden nearby road noise, so involved a lot of heavy lifting and posts buried deeper than normal.

The tree removal was done very carefully and as it went better than expected (the trees had died sometime ago) David reduced the price, which was very kind. All trunks and branches removed from site and everything left tidy.

The fence work was completed in less than ideal weather conditions but again a great job, all the old fencing removed and everything left tidy afterwards.

In summary we are very pleased with David's work and would not hesitate to use his services again.

We had to wait a few months before David was available to replace our fence and install a couple of wooden gates, but it was worth the wait. David and his dad did an excellent job installing concrete posts, gravel boards and a lovely new closeboard fence which was all done with great care and precision. The new gates look great too. Given that the works were completed after and during periods of heavy rain, I would have expected more of a mess from the amount of green material cut and removed through the garden but was pleasantly surprised. Everything quoted for was completed and the dodgy fence exposed propped to avoid collapse.
