I purchased a GR 3149x automatic mainspring 1.25 x .125 x 420 x 10.5 from Cousins.

At the point of purchase, I paid Â£9.70.

The Cousins website states the dimensions are 1.25 x .125 x 420 x 10.5

The supplied factory-sealed packet had a sticker with GR3149X printed upon it, together with a bar code. The supplied mainspring significantly exceeds the 10.8mm diameter stated in the product listing. I have measured the spring, within the supplied circular keeper, it has a diameter of 12mm.

I have subsequently purchased a GR3149X mainspring from another supplier. It is clearly smaller in diameter. The spring supplied by Cousins seems to be incorrectly labelled.

I have made a complaint to Cousins informing them of the above and included photographs. They have declined to refund me. (Reviewed January 2022)
