Not only did the company respond to my call by attending within an hour, but having found that the blocked drain was not actually on my property advised that I should be able to get Southern Water to respond at no charge. Expert advice - no charge. You can't get better value than that. (And SW did respond first thing this morning, and fixed the blockage without charge as Steve advised). Requested a quote for a heavily rusted replacement manhole cover. Clearpath visited and advised the drain was actually decommissioned, and found it to be filled under the cover. Advised that no work was required, the cover could be removed and filled with gravel to match the surrounding drive way. A very honest company, would recommend. (Reviewed August 2022)

Excellent, prompt and professional service. Used high pressure jet washer + CCTV, identifying the problem which was an obstruction by an incorrectly installed water shut-off valve. Clearpath Drainage gave excellent advice about contacting the water company, who took responsibility. We would never have known the cause of the problem without the CCTV evidence. Excellent service. I had already had another company out to try and fix the problem I was having with slow-draining toilets and they had charged me for hosing out the pipes however this did not solve the issue so I wanted a second opinion. Steve came round promptly and discovered that the other company hadn't investigated the right drain and had completely missed the fact that it was full of soil and debris. He arranged a time to come and fix it and attended on a Saturday to accommodate my work commitments. Steve Barnes of Clearpath Drainage came out at short notice. He investigated thoroughly and discovered, by putting a camera through the drainage system, that a waste pipe had been broken by gas company when they relocated a gas pipe. He gave me advice on what should should happen next and passed on the photographs to send to the gas company. At beginning of June, when the gas company left me in a situation which caused me extreme distress, Steve volunteered to come out on a Sunday, in his own time, to talk me through what the gas company should do to correct the problem when they returned the following day. I decided to ask Steve to do the whole job himself and informed the gas company that I trusted Steve to complete the work to a higher standard than the gas company, which he did. Excellent - responded quickly to the call out, investigated the source of the blockage, resolved it with some high pressure water hoses, We were concerned that the drains might need to be replaced, but Steve reassured us that, while they were a little worn and not in perfect condition, they were generally serviceable and this was not the reason they had blocked. The bill was exactly as estimated.
