Was recommended through the Worcester Bosch website to 1st Call Services as they are one of their recommended 'Diamond Installers' and how right they were. A pleasure to deal with, came out to survey as boiler needed to be relocated onto a different wall due to new regulations. I had done my homework on what boiler I wanted and was pleasantly surprised when the engineer (Scott) recommended the same model. David the owner contacted me that evening with a quotation which I gladly accepted (£400 cheaper than British Gas I hasten to add - and they only offer a 5 year 'warranty' where as you get a full 10 year 'guarantee' from a W-B installer!). The Installation was done on time, without a mess and all boiler functions & the guarantee explained. Very satisfied. Highly recommended. (Reviewed February 2020)

Scott & Denny fitted a new boiler on 23rd April. They were very efficient and carried out the job quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Everything was left clean and tidy and we are very happy with our new Worcester Bosch boiler. We had a new boiler replacement by 1st Call Services 6 years ago. The boiler fitters were great and the team have been great in maintaining my Worcester Bosch boiler and heating system ever since. I reported a problem to them on Sunday and the chaps were round and the problem sorted before noon on Monday. I asked David to check my boiler pump and replace it if necessary as it had been very noisy since another heating engineer had done some work for us. He re-set it and checked it over and said it didn't need replacing. He did a great job but wouldn't accept any money for the call as he hadn't had to replace anything. An extremely helpful, friendly and speedy service. Being a complete novice when it comes to boilers, 1st Call Services were so helpful in highlighting the issue extremely quickly and the issue rectified shortly after. Offered great advice on maintaining my boiler and a quick run through the basics in boiler pressure. I rang them based on the reviews in Southend I had read and glad that I too can say I shared the same fantastic experience. Will be my 1st port of call for any future boiler issues or repairs. Always a worry having work done - but no need. David and his team did an excellent job. The survey was carried out by the guys who were actually going to do the work. A very thorough survey and any issues or concerns could be discussed. On the day: they arrived on time, smart clean well equipped vans, all in work uniforms. Rolled out dusts sheets all over the carpets ready for work. A quick chat about storing water for the loo, making the mortar, and for the tea. Old system out whilst another of the team installed the new boiler. Very well organised. Another contractor arrived and removed the waste (old boiler, tanks, cylinder etc.) Pipework is excellent - a true tradesman. The end result: excellent job for the quoted (keen) price. A fantastic service provided at every step. From the initial survey until the job was completed, the team offered a very professional service; offering advice and explanations along the way. When my old boiler decided to die, I did my research and decided I wanted to go for a particular boiler; after talking through with David, he suggested a slightly different model and I am very pleased that not only that I did listen, but David actually suggested the better option. This is the second time we have used 1st Call and it will not be the last. When our boiler broke just before Christmas they came out very quickly, assessed the problem, gave a quote for the work and ordered the parts required. When the parts arrived they returned to do the repair and found that one of the parts ordered was not required so charged us less than originally quoted.
When we had another unrelated problem with the boiler we did not hesitate in contacting 1st Call. Once again David was quick, reliable and very helpful. This is an honest, fair, reliable and hardworking company. We will use them again and recommend them to friends and family. (Reviewed April 2015)

I don't normally write reviews but credit where credits due. They arrived on time, cleared up after themselves, completed work in the given time and very kindly fitted me an extra tap on one of my rads for no extra charge. Felt very comfortable having two strangers in the house and very little distruption to me even though they had to remove a back boiler from the lounge Fire place on top of the other boiler work.
